Design Approach
The process began with a detailed questionnaire to establish goals, target audience, and brand values. I researched competitors, explored colour and font preferences, and identified layout styles that would reflect trust, professionalism, and approachability.
From this, I created a visual strategy and mood board to define the intended look and feel of the brand, experimenting with colour palettes, typography, and imagery that aligned with the financial services industry.
Given full creative control, I developed three logo concepts. Each was relevant to the mortgage sector but centred on the client’s vision of communication and people coming together. The chosen concept featured two house icons positioned within a square speech bubble, symbolising conversation, collaboration, and the trusted relationship between advisor and client.
Once the logo was finalised, I extended the visual identity across business stationery and social media templates to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
